“The Record” is the College’s official annual magazine for alumni and current members.
Up to and including 1970–71:
- the series title was “Queens’ College”;
- the format was 5½″ × 8½″;
- an edition with title years (n)–(n+1) reported on events in the academic year of the title, but was published in the year (n+2).
From 1972–73 to 2014:
- the series title was “Queens’ College Record”;
- the format was A4;
- official news was supplemented by articles of general interest;
- The edition titled 1972–73 reported on the academic year 1971–72 and was published in 1973;
- From 1974 to 2014, the year of the title was the year of publication, and reported on events of the previous academic year.
From 2015 onwards:
- the series title was “Queens’ College : The Record”;
- the format was A5;
- reverted to reporting official news only;
- From 2015 to 2018, the year of the title was the year of publication, reporting on events of a certain 12-month period prior to publication: the exact boundaries of that period varied somewhat;
- The edition titled 2018–19 reported on the four terms from Easter 2018 to Easter 2019 inclusive, and was published in 2019;
- From 2019–20 onward, an edition with title years (n)–(n+1) reported on the academic year of the title, and was published later in the year (n+1).
